Things to do/Transportation

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

The Rotaract Big West Conference brings together Rotaractors from across Zones 26 and 27 for three inspiring days of connection, leadership, and action. Held April 24–26 in Chula Vista as part of the Multi-District Rotary Conference, this immersive experience features dynamic breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, and powerful speakers—including Rotary dignitaries and a featured influencer—designed to elevate leadership skills and spark bold ideas. From Friday’s collaborative learning labs, to Saturday’s high-energy programming and keynote moments, to Sunday’s reflection and take-home strategies, attendees will leave energized, equipped, and connected to a broader global movement of young leaders committed to making lasting change in their communities and beyond. Rotaract is a global community of young professionals and university students who lead with purpose and take action to create positive change. Rotaractors plan and carry out meaningful service projects, develop leadership and professional skills, and collaborate with Rotary and community partners to address real community needs. Rotaract is a recognized membership type within Rotary International and plays a vital role in advancing service, leadership, and fellowship.
