Nyron McLean
Nyron McLean was introduced to Rotary when he was asked to speak to the Rotary Club of Covina about leading medical, dental and surgical teams to Haiti after the massive earthquake of 2010. It was because someone at this meeting asked him to join Rotary, and then, subsequently, introduced him to a Rotary club in his hometown of Riverside, California, that Nyron became a Rotarian.
Nyron is the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder, along with his wife Shelia, of Plan-It Life, Inc. in Riverside, California. Plan-It Life is a non-profit organization which, for over twenty years, has provided safety, security, structure, care and specialty mental health therapeutic services to at-risk teenagers in multiple locations in Southern California. These youth are victims of mental, physical and sexual abuse, sexual trafficking and neglect.
Nyron is also the Founder of H3Missions, Inc., a non-profit that started bringing medical, dental and surgical teams to Haiti after the earthquake. He has led more than 30 teams to Haiti over the past decade, including two teams supported by a District Grant and a Rotary International Global Grant.
Nyron is a proud son of Massachusetts. He has a finance degree from the Boston University School of Management, and is a New England Patriots fan. He loves traveling, reading, sports and the outdoors. Nyron is Major Donor, a Paul Harris Society member, a Bequest Society member and a proud member of the Rotary Club of Riverside Sunrise.
Nyron’s motto for District 5330 this year is “Unleash the Power of Rotary”. Rotarians are the power of Rotary and it is we, working together, who can truly impact our communities and change the arc of the universe.
Nyron, and his wife Shelia, have two daughters. The oldest Erin, is a psychotherapist and a member of the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline. His younger daughter Erika is a dentist.
Luis Carranza
Born in Tijuana, Baja California, and raised in San Diego, California, Luis R. Carranza’s life has been shaped by two cultures and one constant calling: to uplift others through love in action. At seven years old, he crossed a border, but more importantly, he began a journey that taught him how connection can turn strangers into neighbors and service into a way of life.
Luis’s foundation was formed through music, empathy, and community. As a violinist with the San Diego Youth Symphony, he performed beyond borders and discovered that music can be a voice for peace, a shared language that reaches hearts before words ever can. As a teenager volunteering in the oncology department at Grossmont Hospital, he spent time with patients who often had no visitors and learned that the simplest gift can be presence, listening, and reminding someone they are not alone. These experiences shaped a belief he carries everywhere: people do not only need help. They need to feel seen, valued, and loved.
Luis built a 20 plus year career in the mortgage industry and now serves as a Senior Loan Officer with PrimeLending, guiding families with care, clarity, and integrity as they pursue stability and the dream of home.
Luis joined the Rotary Club of Rancho Santa Fe in 2004, and Rotary quickly became home. As Club President, he strengthened member engagement, expanded community outreach, and built local partnerships. He also chaired the club’s signature Taste of Rancho Santa Fe fundraiser, which brought in more than $500,000 in total event proceeds. As an Assistant Governor, Luis supported clubs across District 5340, mentoring leaders and helping build club cultures where people feel they belong and are inspired to serve.
Now serving as District Governor for 2025 to 2026, Luis leads with a bold and heartfelt message rooted in urgency and love.
District Theme: Don’t Miss the Bus
Don’t Miss the Bus is a call to action for every Rotarian, Rotaractor, Interactor, and friend of Rotary. Rotary is not something we watch from the sidelines. It is something we step into. The bus represents momentum and purpose, but it also carries a promise: Rotary cannot leave anyone behind. It calls us to notice who is standing alone, who feels overlooked, and who needs an invitation or a welcome back home. Communities need us now. Young leaders are watching. Opportunities to make a difference pass quickly. Don’t Miss the Bus invites us to show up, stay engaged, and ride together toward a future where every person touched by Rotary feels seen, valued, and loved.
In that same spirit, Luis believes Rotary is another international voice for peace, uniting people across borders, backgrounds, and beliefs to build hope and create lasting change. In alignment with Rotary’s global call to Unite for Good, he believes unity is not the absence of differences. It is the choice to honor them, learn from them, and link arms anyway.
Craig Livingston
Craig Livingston is the District Governor of Rotary District 5320 and a firm believer that Anything Is Possible—especially when Rotarians show up, lean in, and say yes a little before they feel ready. A longtime Rotarian and Past President of the Rotary Club of Brea, Craig is known for blending purpose with humor, pushing past comfort zones, and reminding clubs that service is serious work—but it doesn’t have to be serious all the time.
Outside of Rotary, Craig channels his love of endurance and challenge as a five-time IRONMAN finisher, marathoner, adventurer, and certified coach—because apparently sleep is optional. He brings that same mindset to Rotary leadership: trust the process, rely on your people, and keep moving forward when things get tough. Alongside his wife Amy, Craig is passionate about service, leadership, and adventure—and he’s always ready to prove that Rotary is at its best when we run the race together.
Be Inspired. Be Involved. Be There.
This conference is more than a gathering — it’s a convergence of purpose. Come listen, learn, and lead alongside those who live Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.
