Where Service Meets Action

At the heart of Rotary is Service Above Self — and during our Multi-District Conference at the Gaylord Pacific Resort, every attendee will have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and make a measurable difference.

On Saturday afternoon you’ll choose one of three Hands-On Service Projects, each aligned with Rotary’s global priorities and designed to leave a lasting local and international impact.

Rotary Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention | Community Development

Human Trafficking Awareness & Prevention

This project raises awareness about one of the most pressing humanitarian crises of our time — human trafficking. Participants will help assemble awareness kits, educational packets, and survivor support materials for community partners working on prevention, rescue, and restoration efforts.

You’ll also learn practical ways to identify warning signs, engage local schools and service organizations, and be a voice for freedom and dignity.

“When one person is enslaved, we are all diminished. Together, we choose to see, to serve, and to set free.”

Rotary Area of Focus: Disease Prevention & Treatment | Fighting Hunger

Meal Packaging Project – 20,000 Meals in 2 Hours!

Get ready for energy, music, teamwork, and impact! In partnership with hunger-relief organizations, Rotarians and volunteers will package 20,000 nutritious meals for families in need — all in under two hours.

Each meal packed will help address food insecurity right here in our region, while connecting participants in a dynamic, high-energy experience of shared purpose.

“Every meal tells a story — of compassion, connection, and community.”

Rotary Area of Focus: Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)

WAPI Project – What’s a WAPI?

The question everyone asks — What’s a WAPI? — leads to one of the most innovative and life-saving tools you’ll ever hold in your hands.

A Water Pasteurization Indicator (WAPI) is a small, simple device that shows when water has reached the temperature needed to kill harmful organisms — making it safe to drink without the need to boil.

In this project, you’ll assemble and test WAPIs that will be distributed globally, helping families access clean, safe water while conserving precious fuel and time.

This little tool saves lives — and you’ll help build it.

Be Part of the Action

Each project reflects Rotary’s promise: to turn compassion into action and action into impact.

You’ll select your project when you register — and whichever one you choose, you’ll walk away knowing you made a difference.
